Am 29. Oktober nahm Frau Botschaftsrätin Onishi an der 1119. Sitzung des Forums für Sicherheitskooperation der OSZE teil.  

In ihrer Erklärung betonte Botschaftsrätin Onishi, dass Japans Position, „an der Seite der Ukraine zu stehen“, unverändert bleibt, wie auch Premierministerin Takaichi, die am 21. Oktober ernannt wurde, auf dem „Online-Gipfeltreffen der Koalition der Willigen zur Ukraine“ am 24. Oktober erklärte. Darüber hinaus informierte Botschaftsrätin Onishi das Forum über die Ergebnisse der Ukraine Mine Action Conference (UMAC), die vom 22. bis 23. Oktober in Tokio stattfand. Sie erklärte, Außenminister Motegi habe auf der Konferenz bekräftigt, dass Japan sich mit Nachdruck dafür einsetze, den Menschen in der Ukraine ein Leben in Sicherheit und ohne die Bedrohung durch Minen in einem gerechten und dauerhaften Frieden zu ermöglichen.

On 29 October, Counsellor Rumi Onishi attended the 1119th Meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation.    

In her statement, Counsellor Onishi underlined that Japan's position of "standing with Ukraine" remains unchanged, as emphasized by Prime Minister Takaichi, who was appointed on 21 October, during the "Online Summit Meeting of the Coalition of the Willing on Ukraine" on 24 October. Counsellor Onishi also provided an overview of the outcomes of the Ukraine Mine Action Conference (UMAC), which took place in Tokyo from October 22 to 23. She highlighted that, at the conference, Foreign Minister Motegi reiterated Japan’s firm commitment to doing everything possible to support efforts to ensure people in Ukraine can live free from the threat of landmines, in conditions of just and lasting peace.
