Am 13. Juli sprach Botschaftsrätin Onishi Rumi auf der 1432. Sitzung des Ständigen Rates der OSZE. Sie berichtete, dass Premierminister Kishida am NATO-Gipfel in Vilnius (Litauen, 11. und 12. Juli) teilnahm und in seiner Eigenschaft als G7-Vorsitzender gemeinsam mit anderen G7-Staats- und Regierungschefs eine gemeinsame Erklärung zur Unterstützung der Ukraine abgab.
Sie erklärte auch, dass sich Japan weiterhin dazu bekennt, die Ukraine durch bilaterale Hilfe zu unterstützen und seine Führungsrolle während des verbleibenden G7-Vorsitzes auszuüben.
On 13 July, Counsellor Onishi Rumi addressed the 1432nd OSCE Permanent Council and stated that Prime Minister Kishida attended the NATO Summit held in Vilnius, Lithuania (11th and 12 July) and issued, in his capacity as G7 Presidency and together with other G7 leaders, a Joint Declaration on support for Ukraine.
She also stated that Japan remains committed to continuing its support to Ukraine through bilateral assistance as well as to exercising its leadership on the remaining G7 Presidency.
