The Project for Equipping the JZU Clinical Hospital "Dr. Trifun Panovski" in Bitola with Medical Apparatuses (58,583 euros)
The Dr. Trifun Panovski Hospital is one of the primary hospitals in Bitola, the second largest municipality in Macedonia, located in the south of the country. It provides medical service not only to the more than 70,000 inhabitants of Bitola, but also for a further 250,000 people living in the entire Pelagonija region surrounding of the municipality.
Due to its deteriorated state, the existing medical equipment is frequently malfunctioning, which may result in incorrect examination results and impairs adequate diagnoses. Despite the increase in the number of patients every year, the hospital is unable to purchase new equipment for medical examination due to the precarious financial situation of the municipality.
The purpose of this project is to grant financial assistance for the refurbishment of the following new medical equipment, as well as office equipment: 1 random access automatic analyzer, 1 5PD hematology analyzer, 1 immersion microscope, 1 halogen immersion microscope, 1 semiautomatic analyzer, 1 instrument for electrophoresis, 1 instrument for electrophoresis, 2 centrifuge, 1 tube rollers, 1 analytical balance, 1 pH-meter, 1 incubator, 1 blood gas analyzer, 1 electrolyte analyzer, 1 urine analyzer, 1 drying oven, 10 automatic pipettes, 3 printers, 2 PCs and monitors, 15 office chairs, 1 door.
